The National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive happens every year on Mother’s Day weekend.  All of the food that is collected, last year it was 100,000 pounds, comes to the Lowcountry Food Bank and Amy Kosar is in charge of the coordination of the efforts.  She is trying to make sure that there is as much awareness as possible.  It is so easy, all you have to do is leave a bag of food at, in or by your mailbox and the letter carrier picks it up and brings it back to the local post office.  If you have any questions or concerns, Please contact Amy via the contact information below.
